Bishop Checchio has authorized a special collection in all parishes of the Diocese of Metuchen, to benefit relief efforts in Haiti in the aftermath of the destruction caused by the recent earthquake. Donations may be made at Mass the weekend of September 4-5, through the Parish Office, or through our secure Online Giving Option. Pope Francis recently established the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time as the "Sunday of the Word of God," in order to honor and promote the role of Sacred Scripture in the spiritual life of Catholics. This year, it falls on the weekend of January 25-26. As a way of observing this special day in our parish, everyone is invited to bring your Bible to church to be blessed during the celebration of Mass.
